In 1991 Andrew Vaughan began working with children from birth to 5. He worked with children and families in three settings, a center-based program, a hospital, and a home-based agency. Andrew went on to earn a Clinical and School Psychology Ph.D. from Hofstra University in 1995, and in 1997 he and his partners founded Up Wee Grow, Inc., an Early Intervention agency in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. Andrew and his partners are the authors of Maximum Strength Parenting To Raise Maximum Strength Children, as well as FEATS - Family-friendly Evaluation And Teaching System, He currently directs Up Wee Grow, and has co-founded Allied Professional Partners, PLLC, a Mental Health and Speech Therapy Practice, which provides services to children and adults in six counties.
Dr. Carolyn Waldecker graduated with her doctorate in school psychology from St. John’s University, and completed a two-year post-doctoral specialization program in clinical neuropsychology. She is currently an adjunct professor of psychology at Queens College and St. John’s University, specializing in cognitive assessment and neuropsychology. Dr. Waldecker has presented at national conferences and is actively involved in research on cognitive abilities in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Statement:
I am a graduate from Adelphi University. While at Adelphi I received a Master degree in both Social Work and Psychology. In my years of practice, I have worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults. My exposure and experience has enabled me to utilize various modes of therapy that may be best suited to each individual client.
